Fluid Paintings – A Change in Direction (again!!!)

After much experimentation, wasted paint, ruined canvasses and clothes, I am very excited to have produced a series of acrylic paintings.  I’ve been playing around with a variety of substraights, scale, and a whole lots of different paint recipes.

I hope to get an exhibition together soon – but in the meantime, visit my portfolio to see what I’ve done, and maybe find something you like.

Who’s Looking at You?

Cambridge Street Gallery – Fitzroy, Melbourne

Slowly waking from a creative slumber, I am proud to have been selected to exhibit in the Cambridge Street Gallery portraiture exhibition this month.  The exhibition goes from 24 February – 4 March. It BSG 2015 2is free entry – drop in if you get a chance.

The piece selected is ‘David- The Teacher’ from my Boxed Lives series.  It is a portrait of my father, and reflects his upbringing, interests, work and family life, and physical characteristics.

Even more exciting is that my daughter, Molly, also had a piece selected.

Inspired to Paint

After a hiatus from the studio for a while, I have been inspired to pick up the paintbrushes again.  Having a wonderful time creating.

You can follow the progress of the paintings on my Facebook page.

Works will be listed for sale shortly, as well as a series of prints.  If you’re interested in purchasing or commissioning a piece, just send me a message.
